The Coachman Inn is a Great Place to Rest after you Explore Whidbey Island
Welcome to the world of old fashioned hospitality...
The Coachman Inn was founded in 1978, and since that time, the Inn has expanded to over 100 rooms, and also added conference facilities.
The staff is warm and friendly, and a great source for Whidbey Island info, facts, and probably most important to visitors, directions for getting all around the island.
The Coachman Inn has been voted "Best of Whidbey", three of the last four years. And recently the Inn welcomed their One Millionth Guest, a milestone for anyone in the guest accommodation business.
All rooms include FREE high speed internet, direct dial phones, coffee makers, remote control color tv, VCRs, hair dryers, small refrigerators, and full baths with tub and shower, some with jacuzzis; some with kitchenettes; and some with balconies!
These features alone will make for a most pleasant stay, whether traveling for business, or with the family. Add to all that the outdoor pool and spa, exercise room and a playground, and you have the makings of a truly memorable, and relaxing stay.
There are 9 beautiful suites set aside which also include an "in room jacuzzi".
Three of these suites are labeled as "Executive Retreat" suites, so you can take care of business, and then get into some well deserved R and R.
Two other rooms, the "Admiral" and the "Commodore", are geared towards the romantic traveler, as they feature a king size bed, kitchenette, balcony, and a double jacuzzi in the main room, for those traveling on a honeymoon or romantic getaway trip.
And if that wasn't enough, there is the Crow's Nest, and Penthouse, at the Coachman Inn. These apartments feature 2 full bedrooms, two full baths, entrance foyer, washer and dryer, a large balcony, dining room, and a jacuzzi tub in one bathroom.
They'll even treat you to a free continental breakfast to help you start your day, complete with muffins, danish and cold cereal.
Should you need a bit more breakfast in the morning, there are a few restaurants locally that do serve breakfast. When they're open, one is Turo-Turo Island; another is Island Cafe (these two restaurants are basically right next to each other, south of the Inn, on the east side of State Route (SR) 20, which is the main street where Coachman Inn is located).
Applebee's, which is further south, on the east side of the street may serve breakfast, and of course there are the old standards such as McDonalds which is just south of the Inn on the east side of SR 20, and Burger King which is much much further south on SR 20.
A couple of the smaller restaurants on Pioneer (again much further south from the Inn) may serve breakfast as well.
