Mi Pueblo Mexican Restaurant

Another Mexican restaurant that we've been to a couple times here on Whidbey Island, but we aren't as pleased with their food, is Mi Pueblo.

For us, the attraction of Mi Pueblo is that they are right on the water, a small beach is literally right across the street and the actual harbor is within view, and there are several tables right at the window so that you can look at the water and watch the boats going by as you eat (but you need to get there earlier than normal or those tables will be taken).

Also, depending on what time of the year you're here, it may be dark. It gets dark early in the winter here.

Although Mi Pueblo has been voted "Best of Whidbey" several times, we disagree as have our friends who have come to visit us, as well as our friends who live here. All 16 of us prefer Esteban's. :) Truly, the only draw for any of us to Mi Pueblo is the view. Our #1 is Esteban's, #2 is El Cazador and #3 is Mi Pueblo.

Some of our friends that visited went to enjoy the evening life at Mi Pueblo and they were just as disappointed in that experience as they were with our dining experience.
