Places to visit on Whidbey Island, a growing list

Hip Hop Bouncin
We are thrilled to tell you about Oak Harbor's indoor family play ground! Great for any weather and season. They feature 2 floors of huge inflatable bounce houses, interactive games and obstacle courses. They also have soft play equipment for babies and toddlers to play and explore, AND they do parties! What an enjoyable way to spend part of your visit to Whidbey Island!

Seattle Fun
Who better to help you explore Seattle than someone who lives there? Get the inside scoop on Seattle attractions and upcoming events like concerts, shows, and sports; find out about beaches, parks, things to do, and lots more from a local who loves to share Seattle!

Alright, so the above link isn't about any places on Whidbey Island but...

If you're visiting Whidbey Island for longer than a day, you can drive to Clinton (which is at the very south end of Whidbey island and takes about an hour or so to drive there from Oak Harbor, which is on Northern Whidbey Island, just follow State Highway 20 all the way down to the end of Whidbey Island), drive onto the Ferry and "cruise" to Mukilteo, and then it's a short drive to Seattle (but don't go until you've checked out the site Seattle Fun so that you can get a really good idea of what you want to visit, and where it's at).

It really is worth the trip, we've been on the Ferry a few times ourselves and it's the coolest thing. We even saw dolphins once! We didn't have binoculars, they were that close to the ferry, but if you have them, bring binoculars with you so that you can see further out (who knows, you might even see one of our resident pods of killer whales!).

At the end of the day, or sooner if you'd like, just drive onto the Ferry and come back to your temporary home on Whidbey Island!

You can find out the fees, and wait times, for the Ferry by visiting the fares page at the Washington State Ferries fares page:

Even if you're from Seattle, Seattle Fun has so much information that you're very likely to learn something new! Check it out!
